Aster Volunteers, an affiliate organization of Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) under the aegis of Embassy of India is all set to organise a blood donation drive to raise awareness on the importance of blood donation among the public.
The blood donation will be held with the support of Hamad Medical Corporation’s Blood Bank on August 14 from 8am to 2pm and held at Aster Medical Centre, C Ring Road situated near to Subway signal.
According to instructions from Hamad Blood Bank, the blood donor should :
- Have valid Qatar ID
- Should be more than 50kg weight
- He/she should have been in Qatar for the last 4 months without any travel outside Qatar
- Should be in good health condition and
- Need to have 6 hours sleep prior to the blood donation.
To follow the preventive measures against Covid-19 and ensures social distancing, only the pre-registered people are allowed to donate.
