Kaffeinated Festival
Stop by the Kaffeinated Festival at Al Multaqa Student Center, Education City for some signature/specialty coffee. Event is on till November 28 (9am – 9pm).
Movie Screening
As part of the Ajyal film festival, ‘You will die’ by Amjad Abu Ala will be screened for the public.
The tickets are fully booked online but can be purchased at the venue 45 minutes before start of the programme.

See the Unseen Exhibition
Qatari artist Faraj Daham’s solo exhibition titled “See the Unseen” at the Fire Station Artist in Residence, is part of Qatar-India 2019 Year of Culture. Daham’s exhibition addresses the concept of historical concealment and exclusion through a qualitative approach between what is visible and what is real.
The dozens of Daham’s mixed media artworks on show are made of local materials such as Chinese fishing nets from Kochi in India, handmade paper, henna pigment and branches of trees.

Explore the solar system
The astronomy chapter of QU Alumni Association in collaboration with NMoQ is holding an event titled Explore the solar system, where in visitors will get a chance to see a scaled down model of the solar system at Al Baraha from 5pm – 9pm. A short movie “Lost in space” will be screened and a game contest will be held at Darwish Al Far auditorium from 6pm, 7pm & 8pm.

Qatar’s Best Talents
Mall of Qatar’s ‘Qatar’s Best Talents’ takes place every Friday at the Oasis stage. Singing duets, hip-hop performances, folk dances and piano recitals are some of the excellent entertainment mix to be showcased as part of the programme.
‘Qatar’s Best Talents’, in their third season, showcases up to 10 performances in dancing, singing, and other performing arts selected by MoQ.

The Land of Hope Exhibition
Indonesia’s stunning nature, rich culture and beautiful people are encapsulated in 40 photographs featured at “The Land of Hope” exhibition.
Presented by Katara and the Indonesian Embassy, the exhibition is the first solo international show of Indonesian travel photographer Josua Alessandro.

Between Cinderella and Hamda
The stories of Hamda and Cinderella are very much alike, with similar characters, plots and a remarkably similar ending, which remains a favorite for many.
In this fun and interactive workshop with author Asma Al Kuwari, together with the children they will investigate the difference between the two similar stories, and the two heroines will be invited to meet each other.
This events for children aged 8 – 12, they should be accompanied by their parents.

Baraha Souq
The National Museum of Qatar has added one more weekend attraction with the launch of Baraha Souq, an artisan market located right in the museum’s Baraha courtyard.
The souq has various stalls offering a wide variety of locally made products including artworks, handicraft, jewellery, organic and halal cosmetics, farm to table and organic food, healthy drinks and local date products, among others.
The market is open every second Friday and Saturday, increasing in frequency in the coming months.

Aegean Desert
Katara cultural village presents HRH Prince Nikolaos’s photo exhibition which is curated by Marilena Koutsoukou, titled Aegean Desert.
In a first institutional cultural initiative between Greece and Qatar, the artist transcends geographical boundaries creating two exhibitions in Greece and Qatar presenting images of Qatari desert and the Aegean sea side by side.
In Doha, he exhibits four photos in an Aegean windmill in the outdoor space beside Katara Building 47 where the other 19 photos are on view.

Qatar-British Festival
The annual Qatar British Festival, in its sixth edition this year, is hosting a plethora of events and activities which celebrate the long-standing relationship between the two friendly countries.

Cultural Diversity Festival
Katara will host folkloric shows and traditional arts as part of the 4th Cultural Diversity Festival every weekend.
The festival features an array of cultural performances from different nations around the world and aims to act as bridge between cultures and provide a multicultural harmonious environment.
The fourth edition features folkloric bands from 14 countries: Qatar, Turkey, Portugal, Philippines, Mexico, Hungary, Singapore, Poland, Korea, Taiwan, Sweden, Mozambique, Nigeria and Lithuania.
The festival is free for everyone.

Farmers Market
The third season of Torba Farmers Market brings together vendors and thousands of community members supporting local food producers and agriculture. It offers a wide range of products including freshly-baked goods, fruits, vegetables, homemade preserves, syrups, and handicrafts. Also Torba Junior, an initiative for kids (for 5-12-year-old) to practice their entrepreneurial skills.
At the market, five Torba Junior booths are set up for mini vendors.
