The weather is pleasant and there are many outdoor events being held in and around Doha. Here is a list of the select few that is happening this weekend!
Al Wasmi Garden Festival
Katara Hills is decked up and has come alive with flowers and garden designs from Britain, France, Japan, India and Qatar for the five-day Al Wasmi Festival. The festival will hold a variety of live performances such as Peter Rabbit show, the Jungle Book show, the French story Beauty and the Beast and much more. The event will also host many activities, workshops and fireworks at 4pm on weekend.

The Road Exhibition
Katara presents The Road Exhibition by the Spanish artist, Gabriel Díaz Romero. The exhibition includes paintings and other conceptual artworks which depict road signs to suggest various stories related to the development of Qatar.

Night at the Vienna Opera Ball
This year again the QNL will be transformed into a lavish ballroom for the Vienna Opera Ball to witness the Viennese tradition. In this edition of Philharmonic at the Library, some of the Austria’s most famous 19th-century composes will be played by the international musicians.

2020 Qatar Cross-Country Rally
The international Cross-Country Rally event will start off with the opening ceremony in Souq Waqif and this will begin the five-day rally in the deserts of the State of Qatar.

Cultural Diversity Festival
Katara will host folkloric shows and traditional arts as part of the 4th Cultural Diversity Festival every weekend. The festival features an array of cultural performances from different nations around the world and aims to act as bridge between cultures and provide a multicultural harmonious environment.
The festival is free for everyone.

Qatar Pro Wrestling SUPER SLAM II
After a sold out first season, SUPER SLAM SEASON II will allow spectators to enjoy their favourite fighting legends such as The Great Khali, Kevin Nash, Mark Henry, including international superstars like Alberto del Rio, Rob Van Dam, nZo and many more clash for the winning title.
The tickets are priced between QR 70 for bronze and QR 1000 for VIP. Meanwhile there will be a meet and greet with the legends at Doha Festival City on Thursday, February 20 at 6pm

Tarsheed 2020 Carnival
The carnival aims to raise awareness about environment through games, activities and performances for everyone. There will be stalls put up by various home-based and small businesses in the country.

Open Mic at Torba Market

Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2
Marcus Bosch, conductor along with Gerhard Oppitz, piano will be playing in B-Flat Major for Piano and Orchestra, op.83 at the Brahm’s Piano concert, The tickets range from QR75 to QR 200

Outside the Box: “Public Art in Qatar”
Outside the box is a two day art event that invites members to think about art beyond the institution and explore the meaning in a non-art domain.

Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition
Bollywood fame Sonam Kapoor will be in Doha to inaugurate the 17th edition of the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) that will showcase 127 exhibitors from 14 countries including the new Qatari designers. Also the Qatar–France year will be highlighted through luxurious French brands in this event. DJWE will also showcase a number of exclusive pieces designed by famous brands.

National Sport Day Celebration
In celebration of the National Sport Day and to promote the social and personal benefits of sports and recreation, Mall of Qatar is hosting a variety of fun and fitness activities throughout the month of February. Fairy Land
Tawar Mall promises to recreate an enchanting valley of magic fairies every weekend.

Metro Street Food – Food Fest
First ever outdoor metro event hosted by Q sports, with combination of food, beverages and a mini golf course setup at the DECC Metro station.

B Square Mall Winter Bazaar
Winter bazaar at B Square Mall includes homemade local and imported food items and other products.

MIA Park Bazaar
A weekend market which is a modern take on Qatar’s old souq tradition will have around 50 stalls offering a wide variety of products. The bazaar at Museum of Islamic Art park will have stalls selling ready-to-wear clothes, caps, footwear, shayla, sunglasses, bags, jewellery, watches, cosmetics, fragrances, and other accessories. The stalls representing home-based businesses also sold home display items and sumptuous home-cooked cuisines to the visitors.
