Operations were temporarily halted at Safari Mall, Abu Hamour, on advice from the authorities, retail chain Safari said Wednesday.
“It has been advised by ministry officials to temporarily halt the service of Safari Mall, Abu Hamour branch, due to overcrowding and keeping in mind the health and safety of the public until further notice,” according to a post on the Facebook page of Safari.

Customers can continue shopping at other Safari outlets “without any worries as all the safety and hygiene precautions are duly maintained and followed”, it added.
