With schools set to open in September, Doha Festival City (DHFC) is offering the latest back-to-school collections and stationery at more than 50 stores.
The mall’s back-to-school promotion will run from August 8 to September 9, during which all major retailers will be releasing their latest collections of school supplies, ranging from clothing through to all essentials.
The retail section at Angry Birds, Qatar’s first theme park for the whole family, is where children can now flaunt school supplies featuring their favourite flock. Holister offers shoppers the latest trends for this season. Abercrombie Kids has all-American clothing. High Sierra is offering shoppers an exclusive collection of top-quality backpacks, luggage, and bags, available at Samsonite and Mosafer stores. Japanese retail store Muji, with a wide variety of household and consumer goods with minimalistic design, has an amazing collection of stationery and acrylic storage products in store.
Old Navy has American essentials for the family, and new products in store to celebrate the season. Shoppers can visit Centrepoint, the region’s largest fashion retailer gathering leading brands including Babyshop, Splash, Shoemart, and Lifestyle, all under one roof. Bath & Body Works, one of the world’s leading speciality retailers of fragrant products for the body, hands and home has a special collection on offer, where shoppers can choose from a selected Mini Body Care.
Shake Shack has introduced its new Summer Cookie Flavoured Shakes until August 31 for dine-in. “We are delighted to bring special products and supplies this back-to-school season. Because of the Covid-19 situation, schools closed very early this year and children and parents must be eagerly looking forward for schools to start again. Our exciting promotions and offers for the latest and trendiest products are sure to make children’s return to school more exciting and fun.
DHFC opening hours are: Saturday to Wednesday from 10am-10pm, and Thursday to Friday from 10am-11pm. Children under 12 are still excluded from entering the mall by government order.
In line with the preventative measures set out by the authorities, DHFC has introduced stringent health and safety measures throughout the mall for its staff and visitors. This includes a thorough mall disinfection treatment on a weekly basis, robust cleaning and sanitisation operations during mall trading hours, 127 hand sanitising stations installed in the areas that have commonly touched surfaces.
