The Ministry of Education and Higher Education yesterday opened e-registration for scholarships of undergraduate and postgraduate levels for the academic year 2020/2021.

The ministry said that the e-registration on the government scholarship portal will be in two phases: starting yesterday until next Monday for students applying for the fall semester during September.

The second phase will be reopened from November 1 to December 31 for students applying for the spring semester. The ministry stressed the need to fulfill the general and special conditions for scholarships, noting that incomplete or submitted applications will not be considered after the registration is closed.

Moreover, the ministry also confirmed that the process of registering at the portal and reviewing the application does not necessarily mean accepting the scholarships request.
